Here’s What We Do

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

We’ll help with as much or as little as you need. We can help locate and select artistic staff - stage director, choreographer, set designer, sound designer, lighting designer, technical director, music director. We’ll offer advice, fill a gap, or produce the entire show for you. We can keep your department heads on track, coordinating the schedule and priorities, or we’ll just manage whatever pieces need some oversight.

TECHNICAL DIRECTION

We design, hang, focus and operate lighting equipment, manage special effects and will design and/or build the set - all dependent upon your vision and the practicalities of your budget. We also have long-term relationships with local theatrical providers for every technical aspect of a production.

ARTISTIC DIRECTION

No performing arts organization is the same — what works for one may be unthinkable for another. We’ll help you search out and select the right show to meet your unique requirements: - casting, venue, costume, set, budget and other requirements. We can lead, recruit or augment your creative team at any stage, from ideation through closing night.

STAGE MANAGEMENT

From a simple presentation to a dance recital or a fully staged musical, every public performance needs a Stage Manager to wrangle artists, direct the crew, bring the lights up at the right moment, keep things moving and to create the “theatre magic” that delights audiences. Our seasoned Stage Manager will work with your team from very beginning through rehearsals and performances or just come in as the “shot caller” starting with technical rehearsals — whatever works for you.

STAGE DIRECTION

Our specialty is hands-on Stage Direction for Musical Theater and Drama productions. Our senior Director will work with your creative team to get the production “on the boards”… integrating the choreography, music, staging and technical aspects of the show as needed. We collaborate with your music director, stage manager, choreographer and other technical and artistic designers as needed to bring all the pieces together.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

In twenty years of producing local productions, we’ve developed a calm, “type-B” approach to “putting on a show.” We believe that artists, whether they are young and inexperienced or seasoned veterans, deserve professional, respectful treatment. We coach with affirmation and encourage each individual to fulfill their potential. We’re always looking to create the best piece of art possible with the given resources - by setting high standards, clearly defining expectations, and by maintaining a productive, educational and supportive rehearsal process. We will demonstrate the value of personal commitment, preparation, enthusiasm and respect for the art in every interaction with the artists, staff and crew.
